Working with the agency Ballpoint I’m a part of the team working on paid social for Mother Root.

Mother Root is a non-alcoholic, flavour-full and benefit-rich aperitif that supports your gut and provides an alternative til alcoholic drinks.

Paid social

Working closely with the Producer I’m designing creatives based on briefs from the Creative Strategists at Ballpoint.

Depending on the brief and creativen needed, the assets are either designed using Illustrator and Photoshop or Figma for less retouch-heavy briefs.

Briefs mixes between Native Social design and more design-led creatives.

Problem

How can we use an old school advert in a digital format promoting Mother Root and it’s healthy benefits?

Considerations: How can we learn what performs better in terms of messaging and layout?

Solution

In order to test performance we decided to A/B test assets with similar layouts - but different length of assets. The purpose was to see which type of assets that a) had a higher CTR and b) higher purchase rate

Creating these assets will give us measurable data that can help us improve future creatives.

Problem

How can we create a simple infographic that highlights Mother Roots benefits, improves sales but also allows us to test which images perform better?

Solution

Using insights from previous creatives we can improve our assets and try new approaches to increase sales and click-thorugh rates.

We created four similar ads where we had two factors changing: a) one with the same messaging but different images and b) one with the same images, but different messaging.
